Terms of Use
The rules that govern schools, staff, students, and parents using the platform.
These terms govern the use of 10x10 Campus by schools, their staff, students, and parents. By signing in to the platform, you agree to them.
1. The service
10x10 Campus is a school management platform: student records, academic results, fee collection, attendance, and related school operations, delivered digitally. Schools subscribe to the platform; staff, student, and parent accounts exist within — and are administered by — a school.
2. Accounts and identity
- Every person holds one identity on the platform, identified by their Platform ID. Registering duplicate identities, or attempting to use another person's identity, is prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your password private. The platform enforces one active session per person — if your account is signed in somewhere you don't recognise, change your password immediately.
- Accounts are personal. Sharing an account, or acting on the platform on behalf of someone else without authority, is prohibited.
3. Roles and access
- Staff access is scoped to the school where they currently work, according to the role and permissions their school assigns.
- Students may view their own records, including at schools previously attended.
- Parent access to a child's records requires the school's verification and approval.
- Access to information for parties outside the school community (including government stakeholders) is handled exclusively through a formal request to the 10x10 Campus office — no self-service access exists for such parties.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access records you are not authorised to see.
- Do not enter records you know to be false, or alter records without authority.
- Do not probe, disrupt, or overload the platform, or attempt to bypass its security.
5. The school's responsibilities
Each school is responsible for the accuracy of the records it enters, for administering its own users' roles and permissions responsibly, and for conducting the in-person verifications the platform's trust model depends on (such as verifying a parent's identity before granting access to a child's records).
6. Data
How personal data is collected, used, and protected is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available and dependable, and to give notice before planned maintenance. Features may evolve — the mission is a platform that keeps getting better at running schools, and these terms apply to the service as it stands at any given time.
8. Suspension and termination
Accounts used in breach of these terms may be suspended or closed by the school or by 10x10 Campus. A school's subscription lapsing suspends access to its services; educational records are handled per the retention commitments in the Privacy Policy.
